Lovely

Perfectly authentic and flows smoothly. Every Sample fit together beautifully as the song takes you through the abyss. I know the song is ambient but i have to say im a bit disappointing, because of the drums the song feels like more of a build up but nothing comes out of it. Anyways i thought it was pretty good, great work keep it up.

Never thought of it or tried to make it a buildup, but I understand what you mean - the energy doesn't really change in the track. This is more background music than listening music, and an experiment more than either of the two, so it's no big deal. :P

Legit

love your style, melodies are always very passionate and bring out feelings. The background melody which you base your song off is legit, the way it rings and pans. It flows awesome (with some breathing sounds i think?) with the perfect amount of time before the beat kicks in, which in my opinion is another good quality you have (feels more authentic this way, as if the song wasn't made but played). The beat is very original ( haha other developed style of yours i like) replacing the usually Hi hats clash with an almost human made sound or a broom sweep. Goes along great with the supporting melody that is brought in with it. Transition to the piano is also nicely done. Over all its a pretty legit tune, but makes me think if this only took a day to make what could you do in a week?

Haha, yeah, those sounds are samples of myself breathing.

From experience, I have found that the songs I write in shorter sessions are usually better. The songs that take me more than a week usually lose their appeal to me or are overworked on.

Very Nice.

Great authentic feel and nice theme music, although i think it would be a it boring to just listen to plain. The flow was consistent although the song wasn't very dynamic. Anyways im sure you had a plan in your head and you don't need any critiques for this song. Great work.

Legit. i really like how you added the audio clips although they carry allot of folie (which i don't think is a bad thing but just feels like somethings missing when it goes). I think we kinda have a similar style in a way. For my mac entry i tried to do something kinda like you did, beginning classical then added some synths. Im a bit uncertain though about how you brought in the synth. Also i like the way you ended it fading in some chime sounding things. Anyways great work and good luck :}.

Yeah.. I really wanted to add more in the way of audio clips.. but I just couldn't find samples that I really wanted.. that would fit well in there.

sounds pretty good. Sorry the only reason im posting a review is to comment on TheOnlyMaster. Thats horribly sad that he thought this sounded like ding fries are done, i mean its almost funny. It shows how the computer/Internet is the new religion, which is horribly disturbing because it comes with a horrible set of morals to follow.

I never give zeros ever so feel special cause i came here to make a point. Shape the fuck up. The review you left snoballandthmonyshot Was Horrible, honestly have some respect for your elders especially when they are knowledgeable when it comes to music unlike yourself. So i started reading more of your reviews and i gotta tell ya, your part of the reason newgrounds ap is such a horrible place. A one line review is never a good one but what your doing is ridiculous your trying to make one line critiques. No matter what you should never give a zero because of style, im sure your clueless as to what i mean but im not going to get into it with you. Go listen to music on ng but really REALLY listen to it. Once you start learning more about music then start leaving some good reviews.
Heres a decent review.
First of all this isn't even a loop its just 4 seconds of a bad song.

Name brought me to it

I recently made a similarly title song, for opposite reasons sadly. Nice melody and the flow is very unique. Over all i think it was beautifully done. I have to say some sounds were a bit uneasy on the ears, they hit a certain frequency and im like ouch that being an issue i to need work with. Good work i hope she loves it (maybe fix the mix before showing her it, i know your probably very excited).

i love this live recording stuff, the slight background ambiance. Weird most of the time i get strong feelings from paino but i cant say i did from this one, maybe it was to quite. I love 1:32 very poweful feel, i wish i could work with this, its a lovely melody. great work :}

Thank you. I know that this recording is horribly bad at conveying the feelings. I was using a web chat mic, so the majority of dynamics and minute details were not captured well at all.

yeah mixings inportant

maybe not as much for this song because it was relatively simple. Also im guessing your talking about the filters and effects, like echos and reverb. Thats also very important. i suggest watching some you tube tutorials. Anyways your song sounds pretty good but its very simple and im guessing a remake from a midi? its a good start i say just keep messing around youll catch on eventually if you really like to make music. Pm me for help.

Thanks for the review! The melody comes from one of the old RE games i think, but most of it is made by me. So yeah, It's kinda of a remake :)

I have watched some Warbeat tuts on Youtube (which helped me out with certain functions in FL, like the mixer and it's effects for instance)
